My take-away from that post was specifically building a platform where long-form "article/blog" content and microblog content can co-exist; highlighting their individual strengths and not forcing them to look alike and act alike. Which is sort of what I was setting out to do with conversation containers. But I guess it all depends on your interpretation. A lot of folks in the fedi have never seen anything except 'xyz but federated' -- and we left that world behind a dozen years ago. Everything I've done since is purpose-built from the ground up for use in a decentralised environment.
