NomadicIdentity for ActivityPub is going to be the actual migration where you start using it. Because your friends are connected to your original DNS-based ID and now you'll have a new, portable ID. We'll basically have to do a cross-server migration, but to a new identity on the same server. And only for your ActivityPub connections. Folks using Nomad or Zot already have a portable ID for you.
Makes me wonder if I shouldn't add transport and meta-data/endpoint encryption to ActivityPub as well. Nomad uses a delivery envelope rather than ActivityStreams addressing fields and we encrypt the whole works before sending - even over https. Corporate firewalls are pretty good at MITM'ing https these days with their "deep packet inspection"; which basically removes https transport encryption. Now that we've got conversation containers, and once nomadic identity is working, those will be the only things left from Nomad that ActivityPub still doesn't do.
